Every Top7.ai score is an editorial rating out of 10. It is our judgment of how well a tool suits the buyers in that category, and it is not a laboratory measurement.

What we look at

• Fit for the job (30%): how well the tool does what most people in this category need
• Features (25%): capabilities, integrations and limits
• Pricing (20%): the entry price, free plan and how predictable the cost is
• Ease of use (15%): how quickly someone can get a useful result
• Lock-in and trust (10%): data and code portability, licensing and vendor reliability

Where our information comes from

We use public information, including vendors' published pricing and documentation, along with independent reviews and reporting. Unless a page says otherwise, a review is not a claim that we ran formal hands-on tests of that product. Each comparison shows when its pricing information was last checked.
